Overview:
Operations Laborer who is mature, highly motivated, and a customer-focused team player possessing a

positive attitude. This position is full-time and comes with a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

This role will pay a wage of $16.50 to $23.00.

For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, matched Pension plan, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and Statutory holidays).

**Responsibilities**:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist in conversions of the facility, set up and breakdowns for events (staging, flooring,

chairs, tables, more)
- Assist in facility maintenance and preventative maintenance (painting, drywall repairs,

cleaning, and other various tasks)
- Assist with exterior seasonal maintenance, i.e. snow removal
- Perform inspections with completed checklists
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of an ice surface which includes keeping

accurate records of readings (temperatures)
- Assist with preparation of facility for ice operations which includes set up and

disassembly of hockey glass, dasher boards, locker rooms and other ice event related

equipment.
- Operate ice resurfacing machines, ice edger and all related equipment for the

installation and maintenance of a quality sheet of ice

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described above are representative of

those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. These

include the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for an extended period of time. The duties of this position

are performed primarily indoors where the noise level in the work environment will range from

moderate to loud.

Qualifications:
**Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal, computer and communication skills
- Past experience working with a team environment
- Familiarity with refrigeration
- Willing to take additional training courses which may include working with refrigeration, Forklift,

First aid, Fall Protection, confined space, and many other opportunities
- Experience driving a Zamboni preferred
- Experience maintaining an artificial ice surface preferred
- Ability to work events, nights and weekends
- Work with minimum supervision
- Perform duties in a safe manner
- Demonstrate efficient use of time and resources
