**Environmental Permitting Manager**

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Environmental Permitting Manager is responsible to provide leadership and management of projects and programs for Ensero clients, as well as provide senior technical direction on projects. This position will contribute to driving growth in Ensero Solution’s permitting and impact assessment service line.

***Key **Responsibilities**
- Leads the development of regulatory strategies for clients.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams and proactively identify opportunities to improve project environmental design aspects and streamline regulatory processes.
- Develops integrated project schedule including critical path for the end to end tasks and activities necessary to successfully implement projects.
- Provide corporate technical support to Ensero projects with regard to environmental compliance, governance and permitting.
- Interface and communicate with various levels of government, stakeholders and communities to advance permitting activities.
- Represent Ensero Solutions and our clients in regulatory and community meetings, workshops and events and oversee the preparation of presentation materials.
- Keep abreast of existing and pending legislation and regulation changes which may impact Ensero projects or our client’s projects. Coordinate and disseminate regulatory information within the company.
- Develop professional and business relationships across the industry to better advance Ensero’s growth and strategic initiatives.
- Supports the writing and development of client proposals and explores business development opportunities in mining and other sectors.
- Conducts senior reviews of technical deliverables and programs in area(s) of expertise.
- Supports risk analysis with project management.
- Mentors project team members including direction, coaching, and professional development.
- Monitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety compliance.
- Completes other projects, reporting and tasks as assigned.
- All other related duties as required.

**About You**
- University degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 7 years of environmental permitting experience.
- Experience working in environmental consulting or project consulting setting.
- Experience in building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of Government.
- Knowledge of and experience in Yukon’s and BC’s (and other jurisdictions) impact assessment and licensing regime for resource development projects.
- Professional designation or eligibility to obtain profession designation in BC (P.Eng, P.Geo, R.P. Bio or P.Ag) would considered an asset.
