A&W Mckeown is seeking an Best Cashier Ever for Front of House and the Best Cook Ever for the Kitchen to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for upselling mouthwatering burgers and fries, or if you have exceptional culinary skills and can whip up the tastiest A&W menu items, we want to hear from you

Cashier (Front of House) Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and actively upsell A&W's signature items
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and specials
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth order flow

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in customer service or sales roles is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Cook (Kitchen) Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook A&W menu items according to standardized recipes and procedures
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure timely order delivery
- Assist with kitchen organization and cleaning duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a cook or line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment (not needed, but an asset)
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and a passion for cooking delicious meals
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
