**Position Overview**:As the Health Care Aide Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of our healthcare assistant team, ensuring high standards of patient care and support. You will play a key role in mentoring staff, coordinating patient care, and fostering a positive environment for both patients and team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support healthcare assistants in their daily tasks.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate resident care to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide training and development opportunities for healthcare assistants.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing to maintain optimal care levels.
- Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as a Health Care Aide in British Columbia (Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry)
- Valid Food Safety certificate.
- Valid CPR or First Aid certificate.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
