Since 1984, _Rolark Stainless Steel/Jacquet Metals_ has specialized in providing custom services such as Laser and Plasma cutting, shearing, bar edging, saw cutting, and SPV coating. With an extensive inventory of long and flat stainless-steel products, we are able to meet the needs of a diverse client base.

As a member of Jacquet Metal Services, we are capable of maximizing our global distribution channels to deliver fast quality metal products.

The Plant Manager is responsible for managing and directing staff to achieve optimum production output while maintaining high quality standards for their assigned shift and complying with the company’s Health and Safety procedures.

**Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following**:

- Responsible for SOC audits, equipment checklists, distribution and completion
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum shift operations to exceed customers’ expectations
- Ensure all information going to post inventory is accurate and complete
- Responsible for directing, coordinating and evaluating personnel which includes:

- identifying training needs, coordinating training, motivating and coaching employees;
- planning, assigning, and directing work assignments;
- appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
- maintaining high morale and employee effectiveness;
- address concerns/complaints, resolve issues and implement corrective action when warranted.
- report absences; manage vacation absences
- Drive a strong health and safety culture by supporting, adhering and communicating company health and safety policies and procedures to personnel.
- Ensure all Occupational Health and Safety legislative requirements are being met.
- Conduct safety talks
- Participate in accident investigation
- Perform workplace inspections
- Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned
- Possible shift change if required (Days, afternoons, nights)

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge in CNC MFG ex: Laser, waterjet
- Knowledge in programming with CAD/CAM softwares ex: sigmanest
- Be knowledgeable of health and safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Proven ability to build successful work teams, motivate and develop people
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Proven “hands on” style of management with flexible mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
