We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team at our Regina office.
If you have strong experience managing, planning, and organizing both the finance and accounting department and feel that the responsibilities shown below describe you to a tee, we’d like to hear from you
- Professional accounting designation
- Expert level of process and data management
- Experience assisting a company with automation and change management
- Proficient in Excel
- QuickBooks experience is an asset
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Advanced information technology, relationship building, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to coach and develop others
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, financial and analytical skills
- Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism, and personal integrity
- Ability to adapt to change or unexpected developments
- Knowledge of Human Resources programs and systems
- Promotes innovation, guides change and is committed to continuous improvement
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
- Assist with the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Liaise with auditors to in year-end reporting requirements
- Various other duties as required by management
