JOB PURPOSE:
Be the Business Partner for the organization’s Sales and Marketing Management Teams and through good understanding of the commercial processes ensure effective business decision making. Increase shareholder value for HEINEKEN by setting and supporting delivery of challenging Organisation financial and non-financial targets in the area of Sales and Marketing within an effective and robust financial control environment. Responsible for offering advice and on-going insights into external trends (macro-economics in general as well as industry-related updates) as well as offering benchmarks on KPI against key competitors to senior management. By providing impactful analyses that result in actionable insights, you will support management team in their decision making on strategic and operational topics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the relevant function in strategic direction setting as well as cross-functional strategic alignment through scenario modelling, profit pool analysis and strategic alternatives evaluation
- Pro-actively work with the relevant functions specifically to identify, analyse and exploit business opportunities.
- Provide financial leadership on strategic projects.
- Provide advice, guidance, and influence/strengthen decision making.
- Support the decision making process by developing business cases providing scenario modelling, creating revenue, cost, margin, and profit pool analyses.
- Monitor and develop insight on the quantitative and qualitative performance for the organisation and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary and KPI.
- Facilitate target setting, monitor and challenge performance in the relevant area through leading and promoting customer, sector and region performance understanding.
- Co-ordinate the governance cycle for the Organisation as a whole and support the Organisation management team in delivering the 3-year Strategic Action Plan, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the Latest Estimates including providing relevant challenge.
- Establish and implement policies and processes to ensure the integrity of accounting records and financial information.
- Drive greater connectivity across business controllers and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of fact-based decision making and cost consciousness throughout the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration or other relevant field.
- ACCA, FCCA, CPA Certification is a bonus.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 6-years’ experience in Financial Controlling
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point. ERP System.
- Strong influencing skills and experience in leading change
- Excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels
- High orientation towards change, resilience, and tenacity to follow through to completion.
- Creative and cost-conscious mindset
- Confident and strong character operating with integrity and efficiency
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
