Northeastern Protection Service Inc has been providing Security solutions and employing Security guards for over 40 years. We currently have a unique opportunity for Experienced Event Security guards to work a series of local events in the HRM and surrounding area. Must have strong communication skills including excellent use of English language, Outgoing personality and customer service oriented. Excellent observation skills and ability to think on your feet. Should have flexible availability, (shift work could include days, nights, weekends and Holidays). This Position could appeal to individuals who have previous experience as bouncers in local nights clubs or someone with Education in the field of Corrections and Policing, who wants to add to their variety of experience in the interesting sideline of event security. Non violent Crisis Intervention certification considered an asset. First aid Certification, will be required. Must have valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle. The events security position does not offer consistent hours, but is suitable for current event guards who have a desire to work at Northeastern events solely to enhance their work life experience. This would be mostly preplanned events that the guards would be advised of in advance. There may be cases where the event guards would get called in for a last minute event.
