Small Garbage Truck Operator

**Qualifications**:

- Must have valid G license and clean driver's abstract
- No formal education required.
- Previous Driving experience
- Previous garbage/recycling experience is an asset

**Job Setting**:
Work will take place in both commercial and residential settings operating a small garbage truck with a remote control crane attachment servicing in-ground waste containers

**Duties**:

- Operate a small garbage truck as a single loader/operator.
- Perform curbside pickups using a truck-mounted crane
- Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Provide reliable service and complete assigned daily routes.
- Transport waste to local transfer stations and landfills.
- Report throughout the day on an in-house app

**Required physical capabilities**:

- Lifting and moving loads moderate loads
- Bending, kneeling, crouching
- Working in hot and cold weather

**Job requirements**:

- G class license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Spoken language: English
- Provide your own safety boots, hard hat, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
