More Driven.** The **IT Team Lead** provides leadership and direction to a technical team at our Goodyear Napanee plant_ as well as_ "hands on" support of the full stack environement. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall technology at the plant including; delivering customer service, project delivery, and hands on problem resolution as needed to maintain plant operations. In this Technical Team Leader role, you will be expected to function as a "working manager" and possess the willingness to learn technologies as needed. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: - Successfully manage a team and perform hands on technical activities as needed in order to meet department objectivities and consumer needs. - Plan, coordinate, schedule assignments and projects with your team and participate in establishing project plans (strategic and tactical). Prioritize project plans based on business needs and availability of resources. - Monitor project development and communicate project progression. - Perform managerial activities. Determine specific resources and skills required for on-going activities and provide leadership to staff all projects within area of responsibility. Required Education and Experience: - Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business or in lieu of degree 11 years of IT experience - 6 or more years of Technical experience in a variety of IT disciplines gaining a conceptual knowledge of Information Technologies and methodologies. Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Advanced knowledge of IT field and in-depth knowledge and technical expertise of one specialty area. - Desired: Masters Degree - Good presentation skills, meeting leadership and facilities skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Have the necessary leadership, team building, motivation and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal.# - LI-BM1 Click here for more information about Equal Employment Opportunity laws, and here for additional supplementary information.
