**Responsibilities**:
Business Development:
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced financial advisors in how to conduct client meetings, prepare proposals and deliver effective presentations.
- Grow your practice by collaborating with experienced advisors in doing seminars.
- Increase your client base through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
- Ongoing sales and marketing training to help grow your practice.
- Cultivate strong, long-lasting client relationships and foster trust and loyalty.
Client Consultation:
- Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
- Develop customized financial plans and investment strategies that align with each client's unique needs.
Investment Advisory:
- Stay up-to-date with financial markets, investment products, and asset allocation strategies.
- Provide well-informed investment recommendations and actively manage client portfolios to meet their financial objectives.
Retirement Planning:
- Assist clients in creating comprehensive retirement plans that encompass savings, income distribution, and pension management.
- Offer guidance on tax-efficient retirement savings and withdrawal strategies.
Insurance and Risk Management:
- Assess clients' insurance needs, including life, disability, and critical illness insurance.
- Recommend insurance solutions that safeguard clients and their families against unforeseen financial risks.
Estate Planning:
- Advise clients on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.
- Collaborate with legal professionals to develop wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and Manulife Securities' policies.
- Maintain precise and updated client records, including financial plans and transactions.
**Ongoing Training and Support**:
- Access to Manulife Securities' robust training programs, which provide continuous education and development opportunities.
- Regular seminars, workshops, and webinars to stay current on industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field to help you navigate complex financial scenarios.
- Cutting-edge technology and tools to streamline your work, manage client relationships, and access research and market data.
- Marketing support, including branding materials and assistance with marketing strategies to promote your practice.
- Compliance and legal support to ensure that your business operations align with regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years of Sales, Business Development or Client Acquisition experience.
- Completion of CSC (Canadian Securities Course) is a must.
- Managing an existing book of business is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial planning, and insurance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of managing your practice effectively.
- Dedication to ethical and compliant business practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively when required.
