**Job Overview**
As an Owner Operator Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while managing your own vehicle. This role requires a high level of professionalism and dedication to customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in compliance with all regulations. You will operate your own truck and be responsible for its maintenance, ensuring it remains in optimal condition for transportation tasks.

**Duties**
- Transport freight to various locations while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to keep the vehicle in good working order.
- Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when required for loading and unloading freight.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving is essential.
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus to handle minor repairs on the road.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
- A strong understanding of freight handling procedures is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $147,968.00-$169,644.00 per year
