Driver Trainer

**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Driver Trainer. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills and knowledge in various aspects of employment within our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Train Students in the operation of large commercial vehicles in the class A and class driving field.
- practice and encourage safe driving habits within the rules of the road, monitor student performance and encourage safe driving practices
- Manage patience, and understanding with students entering into a field that is unknown or new to their skill set.
- Complete daily / weekly reports on student progress.
- instruct students to prepare and successfully complete their road test to ministry standards.
- attend meetings to discuss improvements and student progress.
- Occasionally instruct in class, participate in theory and air brake instruction.
- Collaborate with senior managers to understand and contribute to training strategies and performance.

**Skills**:

- Must be technologically inclined.
- understand the use of mobile apps and data entry.
- Must be proficient in operating manual transmission. 10 and 13 speed.
- Must have 5+ years of verifiable and current experience.
- Must produce clean drivers abstract and CVOR as well as CRC.
- Must agree to professional attire and partake in uniform policy.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment while on duty.

Pay: $73,000.00-$76,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
