**Transdev Canada is hiring an Industrial Coach Driver in Merritt, BC.**

**As an Industrial Coach Driver,**you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, following designated routes and schedules. You will ensure passenger safety and comfort, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times. Adherence to safety regulations and company policies is essential in this role This is a full-time position.

**Your role**:

- Enjoy interacting with the public
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour
- Drive various coach/buses or company non-revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner within the assigned service area and schedule
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Perform timely fueling of the bus as needed
- Maintain effective communication with passengers, dispatchers, or fellow drivers via two-way radio systems
- Report delays, mechanical issues, or accidents promptly
- Complete and submit written reports regarding passengers, incidents, and accidents
- Demonstrate vigilance in ensuring passenger safety during emergencies, including guiding evacuation procedures
- Uphold a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and clear communication
- Adhere to Transdev's standards, policies and procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested or required

**Your profile**:

- You have a Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
- You have 2 years minimum experience industrial site driving.
- You have a clean driver's abstract.
- Clean drug and alcohol test.

**Your location**:

- This is a nonunionized full-time position in Merritt
- Average schedule of 40 hours per week.
