**SUMMARIES**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst Intern to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced business environment.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
**Sales Data Analysis**: Participate in the analysis of the monthly sales data and product line performance to identify key trends, patterns, and correlations. Uncover actionable insights and opportunities for sales growth based on data analysis.

**Marketing Campaign Analysis**: Participate in the data evaluation of the effectiveness of promotional campaigns. Prepare detailed reports outlining campaign outcomes, strengths, weaknesses, and data-driven recommendations for optimizing future marketing strategies.

**Database Management & Optimization**: participate in the optimization of the database management system to improve efficiency and facilitate cross-referencing between data sources. Participate to implement indexing strategies and data normalization techniques to enhance database performance.

**Data Requests & Reporting**: Prioritize and respond promptly to data requests and projects from management, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and relevant information.

**Business Applications Support**, participate in the following activities:
Develop and deliver internal and external training on app functions

Oversee the daily operation of points and rewards functions.

Conduct monthly performance reviews of the B2B app.

**EDUCATION**:

- Final year of university degree (bachelor’s or master’s), or recently graduated, in business management, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.

**SKILLS**:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization, and ideally macros)
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis is highly preferred
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing processes through data analysis
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Capacity to work under pressure, adapt to dynamic conditions, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

**LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY**:

- Excellent English language proficiency both written and verbal
- knowledge of Mandarin language is a plus

**OTHER**
- This is a part-time **on-site** internship opportunity, maximum of 20 hours per week, 2-3 days per week
