Jardeg is recruiting Insulator Journeyperson to join the Quinn Constructors LTD. maintenance team at the NOVA Chemicals site in JOFFRE, Alberta. Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders that have been executing work at the Joffre site for over 20 years.

NOVA Chemicals’ Joffre manufacturing facility is located just east of Red Deer, Alberta and is one the largest ethylene and polyethylene production complexes in the world. The site actually consists of five manufacturing facilities: three for ethylene production and two for polyethylene production.

Insulators apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g., calcium silicate, glass foam, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass) on all types of industrial equipment (e.g., duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels).

This is a 8-12 weeks maintenance assignment.

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyperson Insulator certification or proof of Journeyperson level hours.
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Insulator, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as a scaffolder.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Journeyperson Insulator certificate or proof of hours
- CSTS-2020
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
