As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership. You will be responsible for leading and motivating staff, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the overall efficiency of the dealership.

**Here’s What You’ll be Doing**:

- Collaborates with the Vice President to make final decisions on dealership goals and objectives.
- Forecasts and reviews goals and objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
- Participates, reviews and provides recommendations for the annual operating forecast and budget for the dealership.
- Ensures dealership maintains profitability margins.
- Assists department managers in setting goals and objectives and coaches’ managers to achieve goals.
- Responsible to hire, train, motivate, coach and monitor the performance of the department managers.
- Meets with department managers to discuss ideas, concerns and objectives.
- Ensures effective communication with the dealership and interdepartmentally.
- Maintains a good relationship with the OEM manufacturer representatives.
- Performs other duties as required by the Group Vice President to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
- University degree or college diploma in business administration.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in the automotive industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Valid OMVIC Certification.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
- Ability to build a customer focused team environment.
- Ability to build long-lasting and trusting customer relationships.
