**Junior Project Coordinator Position**

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Junior Project Coordinator will work closely with our team. The Junior Project Coordinator will assist the project management and team, to help manage all phases of construction projects. Under general direction, coordinate various project documentation, including bid package preparation; interact with contractors and consultants on new construction and renovation projects; assist with solicitation and follow-up with contractors, and preparation of tracking reports.

**Responsibilities**: _(May perform any or all the following)_
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of and adhere to organization/project policies.
- Assist project team with coordination of various activities; compile and prepare project correspondence; maintain data; assist with record maintenance.
- Interact with on-site architects, engineers, contractors and maintenance personnel regarding project bids and evaluation activities, and other project concerns.
- Develop bid documents and specifications for solicitation of professional service (consultants, architects, and engineers) and contractors; prepare draft contracts based on standards for review by project manager and director.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Manage multiple contracts at the same time.
- Ensure continuous communication is always maintained within the project team.
- Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.
- Checking of construction documents and drawings to ensure they meet client’s needs and requirements.
- Preparation of documents, letters, calculations daily.
- Other projects related duties, as assigned.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- 1 to 3 years experience in construction and development.
- High school, college, university diploma or equivalent.
- Target-oriented, result-driven, flexible in dealing with tasks and people, able to work under pressure and hardworking.
- Innovated thinker with proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience in reading construction drawings (CAD) and plans.
- Possess excellent judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Able to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
- Team Player who inspires confidence.
- Knowledge of construction/architectural/engineering terminology.
- Ability to operate a personal computer and various software programs.
- Strong Microsoft Office software skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Speak fluent English and have an outgoing personality.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Full time Permanent
