**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive project portfolio that aligns with the corporate strategic goals.
- Preparing and managing the budgets for all projects within the portfolio.
- Assessing and recommending projects to the Plannera Executive Committee, ensuring proper sequencing and use of human and financial capital.
- Oversight of all internal and external project managers.
- Reporting on the status of all active projects as well as close out reports for completed projects.

You will be:

- A strategic thinker with the ability to align projects to organizational priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
- Skilled in project portfolio management, with experience in coordinating multiple projects across diverse teams and functions.
- An effective communicator who can present project recommendations and updates clearly to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Proficient in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight to ensure projects remain within scope and cost constraints.
- Adept at fostering collaboration among internal and external project managers to maintain alignment and deliver results.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a combination of:

- A post-secondary degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
- A professional designation such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional)
- At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in project management, portfolio management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex project portfolios and leading diverse teams.
- Familiarity with financial management principles and tools to support effective project budgeting
