**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Experienced Cook in Italian cuisine and plate dishes to order during service.
- Maintain a clean and organized station.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with prep work as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house.
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings and seasonal specials.
- Provide excellent service by presenting pastries attractively and responding to customer inquiries about menu items.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, specifically in pastry or baking roles.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in pastry preparation.
- A passion for the culinary arts, particularly in creating innovative desserts and pastries.
