**Full-Time, Contract, 12-15 months**

We are currently looking for a passionate and engaged Human Resources Specialist to join our team Working alongside an excellent team, this role will provide support on a variety of initiatives such as Recruitment & Selection, Onboarding & Orientation, Health & Safety, HRIS, Employee Relations, Wellness and much more. Please note that this role does require some weekend on-call responsibilities around every 3 weeks. This is a hybrid-work role.

What you will do:

- Respond to employee inquiries
- Manage short-term, long-term leave programs
- Health & Safety Program Administration
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on interpretation of HR policies and employee relations matters
- Conducts investigations as required
- Support of our Performance Program
- Collaborate on projects and initiatives including but not limited to recognition programs, employee engagement, HRIS, employee development and much more.

What you need to be successful:

- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Focus on customer service excellence
- Professionalism and confidentiality

Education & Experience:

- Graduate of a Human Resources Diploma Program
- CHRP Designation or equivalent is a strong asset
- 3-5 years of human resources experience
