**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a career driven Collection specialist who has a passion to provide support to our existing customers while at the same time ensuring the collection of money owed.
We are a growing BC business and one of Canada’s leading manufacturers of nutritional supplements, dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of our customers.
Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm), Hybrid
Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)
**In this role you will**:
- Perform collections and reconcile AR accounts
- Assess customers’ risk level and credit worthiness based on past history, credit reports, as well as identify concerns through conversation
- Work with sensitive and confidential account and financial information
- Ask appropriate questions to gain insight and understanding of a customer’s financial situation, true intent and overall character
**You have**:
- Customer service and collection experience (2+ years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Completion of a two-year diploma in Financial Management or Accounting
- Verbal and written proficiency in French (asset)
- Strong business and technical writing skill (asset)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
