We are currently recruiting for **First Cook** to join our Kitchen team. A **First Cook** is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen and be very knowledgeable about his or her specialty, as well as culinary functions in general. Our passionate team is constantly creating culinary excellence for our guests. Managing our banquet functions and restaurant you will find this busy team constantly supporting each other to maintain our superior standards. Looking to grow your career in Culinary, this team provides opportunity to grown from dishwasher to Executive Chef.

Duration of Assignment - Contract for 4 months

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepares food as needed.
- Follows all production recipes to ensure consistent quality.
- Adheres to all quality standards for food quality and presentation.
- Ensures maintenance of cooking equipment.
- Maintains a sanitary and safe kitchen/storage environment.
- Adheres to the established HACCP plan.
- Serves as a role model for other employees through teamwork, attention to detail & quality control.
- Interactions with all team members.
- Ensures guest satisfaction.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of culinary school
- 3 - 4 years kitchen experience
- Banqueting experience preferred
