**Water / Wastewater Operator/ORO - Southwestern / South Central Ontario**

As a Water / Wastewater Operator with StreamGo, you will be a valuable player on our team, ensuring our operations and maintenance ground game is the best in the business. We are looking for industry pros who are looking to take the next step in their operations career.

You will be responsible for the successful operation and maintenance of the drinking water and wastewater facilities we operate ensuring that our operations comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, approvals, orders and guidelines. You have advanced knowledge of drinking water and wastewater system operations and process control, are computer proficient, have demonstrated problem solving skills, are mathematically inclined and have effective communication skills. You also will be comfortable supervising less experienced operators as our team grows.

Minium Requirements:

- Level 2 Wastewater Treatment
- Level 2 Wastewater Collection (preferred)
- Limited Surface/Subsurface Water Treatment Certification
- great interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- understanding of the latest technologies in the Water and Wastewater field.
- basic knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations (for example, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Drinking Water Standards, Drinking Water Protection Regulations, Safe Drinking Water Act, Spills Act, etc.).
- mechanical aptitude and abilities.
- a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license.
