MPS Facility Services-Canada ULC Is Hiring A Site Supervisor at the Hammond Manufacturing facility in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

JOB SUMMARY

The Site Supervisor is directly responsible for supervising a small team of MPS field technicians, communicating with the customers and MPS management while leading by example. Supervisor is also responsible for performing all Tech activities as a member of the operating team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops TIS’s and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely. This involves evaluating the safety hazards on the job and determining and enforcing the precautions, procedures and PPE needed.
- Makes arrangements for personnel and equipment.
- Resolves conflicts on the job.
- Trains, evaluates, and counsels employees on quality and safety.
- Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials, and supplies to support the crew.
- Act as a customer/client liaison.
- Prepare and submit job reports as directed by the Site Manager, Ops Manager and/or customer.
- Makes recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits.
- Using chemical cleaners, pressure washers, and manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots, etc.
- Grease rails and perform other minor maintenance.
- Vacuum and wipe interior and exterior of equipment.
- Remove, clean and reassemble piping systems in parts washer.
- Clean building floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Perform other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
- Lock out/tag out of equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the assigned areas.
- Confined space entry procedures for safe entry into confined space areas needing to be cleaned.
- Operation of cardboard balers
- Filter changes as assigned.

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
- Supervisors must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Supervisors must have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least 3 year of industry related experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- Contractor Safety Training
- Valid Driver’s License

The payrate for this hourly position pays up to $30 CAD currency.
