Pricing / Contract Analyst

As we continue to enhance our operations across Canada, we are looking for a Pricing / Contract Analyst to join our Marketing Team in Dartmouth, NS. As a Pricing/ Contract Analyst, you will be responsible for in-depth analysis & act as a “Guardian of Profitability” to support revenue generation, profitability, and growth strategies under multiple HGC Brands. This pricing will be maintained on an ongoing basis and leveraged by our Branch Operations Team to serve our customers. Additionally this position is responsible to manage fixed contract pricing specific to individual customers in conjunction with the Operations Team, Sales Team, and Senior Leadership.

- Compensation is **heavily dependent** on the applicants **experience and expertise** and ranges from **$42,000 to $47,000**:

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, propose adjustments & maintain pricing models to support revenue and profitable growth.
- Set up and maintain competitor price checks, competitor store locations, market pricing, and competitive activity.
- Assist in the development of pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, and communicate data supported solutions to challenges.
- Run price optimization scenarios and offer suggestions to maximize sales and profitability.
- Support data cleaning and review all costing/retail documentation to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within inventory/product pricing.
- Advanced Excel skills, and experience with SQL and Power BI, to support analytics and KPI’s
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify key opportunities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and able to work on repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
