**About this opportunity**:
The **Program Management Intern** will support the Global Automation Project Management Office Manager (PMO). Work is guided by detailed instructions, routines, and procedures. The intern will work under close supervision and will receive detailed instructions on all work assignments. May work autonomously once proficiency in the tasks is achieved. May be given more complex duties as proficiency is gained. Deals directly with co-workers and team members with guidance.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google SmartSheets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Corporate teams and internal Management.
- Well organized, good time-management skills, detailed-oriented and a self starter.
- Ability to follow-through on deliverables with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Comfortable working autonomously with mínimal supervision.
- Highly adaptable with a strong desire to learn.
- Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment considered an asset.
**Activities**:
- Supporting the day-to-day activities of PMO Project Manager - attending internal calls, internal meetings, recording and following up on meeting action items.
- Working with internal cross functional teams (Automation Standard, Automation Enable Wins, Automation Solution Architect and Site Engineering teams).
- Gather, compile, track and report on information relevant to project assignment from multiple sources.
- Compile, review, and analyze data.
- Maintaining the records of Global project expenses.
- Assistance with the archiving of completed projects.
**Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include**:
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
