Preference will be given to individuals who are certified or currently enrolled in the _Food Service Workers _from a recognized institution; and/or have successfully completed their Food Handlers Certificate from Public Health Unit and is current; 3X Covid Vaccination. Police check and TB testing required.

**_STUDENT /SEASONAL Friendly _**( only require Public Health Food Handler Certificate, police check and full vaccination)
- **_DUTIES _**include: setting/clearing dining tables, portioning food selections from steamtable for residents as outlined; preparing beverage cart with coffee/tea, snacks; warewashing, garbage/laundry removal, sweeping, mopping; preparation of special labelled snacks, portioning of desserts
- Must be able to read, write and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Public transportation firendly
- Must demonstrate proper food preparation and presentation for a variety of cultural preferences.
- Must be knowledgeable about the Long-Term Care Act
- Must be knowledgeable of special, therapeutic, and texture modified diets
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for majority of shift.
- Must be able to work accurately, quickly, and safely.
- Must be an effective team player that works well with others.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with long-term care residents.

Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week

**Salary**: From $16.91 per hour

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Public Health Food Handler (required)
- Food Service Worker or willing to enroll (required)
