**Your work environment at EXP**

**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Overseeing the planning and execution of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), excess soil, remediation projects, and related environmental studies
- Proposal preparation, budget tracking, cost control and invoicing
- Liaising with contractors and clients
- Approximately 30% field work i.e. Phase 1 Site Assessments
- Evaluating data and proposing solutions
- Preparing technical reports and reviewing technical work of other staff
- Training and mentoring junior staff
- Gaining and sharing knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs; to a degree consistent with individual and business sector goals
- Nurturing strong client relationships and having an opportunity to participate in business development activities
- Advancing the growth of your professional career

**What your experience looks like**
- 5 years of consulting experience in environmental site assessments, soil management and/or remediation.
- University degree in a related field of study such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology or Geology.
- Licensure or potential for licensure for P.Eng. or P.Geo. license in Ontario (or equivalent designation from another Province or the US).
- Experience conducting Phase I and II ESAs, remediation programs, excess soil management plans, remediation design and/or hydrogeology.
- Understanding of the applicable provincial and federal legislation and guidance documents.
- Experience in budget management, report preparation, and client relationship management.
- A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as advanced technical writing abilities.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Must be comfortable in the field on construction/environmental project sites.
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and put forth creative solutions.
- Ability to converse and/or write in French is an asset.
