**JOB DESCRIPTION**

An Automotive Tire Technician is a skilled member of the Tire Department who reports to the Store Manager.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

An Automotive Tire Technician is responsible for performing the following duties:

- Perform tire inspections.
- Mount and dismount all types of tires on all types of rims.
- Uninstall and install rim and tire packages onto Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUVs.
- Repair tires when they are safely repairable.
- Rotate tires, check and adjust tire pressures, install and set tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)

The hours in the Tire Department are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. This is a full-time, seasonal position with duration of about nine weeks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
- Experience in the automotive tire industry
- Physically fit and able to lift/carry 50lbs
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
