We are currently looking for a disciplined and highly motivated **Forklift Driver in Calgary, AB**. You will be working in a small team and will be reporting to the Plant Manager of the company.

**Primary Focus**:
Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks, or trains and within the storage facility. Has knowledge of commonly used practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

**The Role**:

- Manages time, picks, receive goods/products, and physically pulls inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products.
- Packs orders, including shrink wrapping contents onto pallets, all while ensuring orders are accurate and records of inventory are kept up to date for a smooth flow in warehouse operations
- Moves goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Safely stacks and unstacks large quantities of goods onto selves or pallets
- Builds safe pallets
- Drives machines (e.g., lift trucks, reach trucks) while following safety procedures
- Ensures driving areas are free of spills or obstructions
- Selects products using RF gun

**Employee Collaboration**:

- Communicate clear expectations for work outcomes to team members
- Escalate any concerns about performance to the shift supervisor/production manager

**Safety, Training & Processes**:

- Responsible for supporting safe, respectful, and productive work environment
- Keep upto date on safety, requirements and operating procedures are met
- Regularly checks equipment for faults or damages

**Qualifications**:

- **Knowledge & Experience**_
- 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Warehouse experience is an asset
- Experience in MS Suite
- **Skills**_
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and lift to 55 lbs.
- Dependable and accountable
- Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, fast learner, and quick thinker
- Excellent work ethics and reliability
- **Education & Certifications**_
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to drive Raymond Reach and Counterbalance license
- Forklift License is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
