Monterra Golf Grounds Maintenance Worker

This is an entry level position that will be involved in various aspects of the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course. This position is integral in ensuring that the golf course is maintained at a high standard.

**WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?**:

- Hourly rate of $16.50.
- Full Time Hours. 5:45am-215pm currently.(Mon
- Wed-Fri) Some weekends are required and are half shifts 6-10 am
- This position will run until the conclusion of Thanksgiving weekend or longer depending on weather.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Block changing
- Bunker maintenance
- Triplex cutting
- Walk-behind cutting
- Fairway cutting
- Rough cutting
- Weed-eating and flymo/pushmower work
- Operate within set safety guidelines
- Garbage collection

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Able to demonstrate a growing knowledge of equipment operation as time progresses
- Self-motivated and strong performer
- Able to positively interact with co-workers and the public
- Prior golf maintenance experience is an asset
- An understanding of the game of golf
- Equipment/farm experience is an asset
- Must possess a valid G2 Driver’s License at a minimum
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit and reach
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 60lbs
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
