Digital Learning Technician

triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking (2)** Digital Learning Technicians** interested in joining our **Academic Services Team.**

**Primary Purpose**:
The main purpose of the Digital Learning Technician is to contribute to the success of the team by managing course projects, developing courses within our platforms, and supporting our users through ticket-based support and training. In addition, the Technician will support the team by learning and expanding their knowledge of both our primary and secondary Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, and by assisting others as necessary in the management and maintenance of those platforms.

The Digital Learning Technician will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete all content development work, including the creation of course shells, implementing the agreed course layout, translating content into the appropriate format (HTML pages, PDF files, videos, etc.) and inserting into the course as designed.
- Assist in understanding how secondary platforms are structured, are configured, and how they will tie into the primary LMS platform (gradebooks, reference materials, etc.).
- Assist with working with stakeholders to understand the training needs of staff, instructors, and students, and contribute to the ongoing development of training materials, onboarding guides, orientation videos and more.
- Assist the team in identifying potential issues concerning the security of our platforms, including issues with user permissions, access, and system behaviour.
- Document and maintain learning technologies knowledge base - including process, checklists, service level agreement, rules, and policies and procedures around all learning technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree.
- One (1) or more years working in a business office environment.
- Experience customizing an LMS would be an asset.
- Working within an educational setting is an asset.
- Experience working with instructional design professionals preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS or Articulate is preferred.

Hours of work for this position will be 8am - 5pm EST, Monday to Friday.
