Our team is composed of compassionate and highly skilled professionals committed to improving the mental well-being of our diverse community. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, grow professionally, and collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a passion for mental health care.
**Position Overview**
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team in Toronto, Ontario. This role is primarily in-person, allowing you to work closely with clients and colleagues in our state-of-the-art facilities. However, we also offer flexible options for including remote work.
**Our Specialty Clinics**
CCCBT offers a wide range of specialized services designed to meet the needs of clients across the spectrum of mental health severity. As a Registered Psychotherapist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one or more of the following flagship programs:
- **Serious Mental Health Services**_
This clinic delivers structured, formulation-driven CBT for individuals with complex mental health presentations, including psychosis, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and chronic suicidality. Our clinicians provide manualized and individualized interventions with a focus on recovery, identity, and long-term functional outcomes. This stream is ideal for psychologists with experience or interest in CBT for psychosis, DBT, or schema-informed work.
- **Operational Stress Injury Services (OSIS)**_
Our OSIS clinic supports Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and public safety personnel (e.g., police, firefighters, paramedics) experiencing PTSD, moral injury, and other service-related psychological challenges. We offer trauma-informed, culturally competent care, grounded in CBT, CPT, PE, and related evidence-based approaches. Clinicians working in this stream benefit from training, peer consultation, and regular contact with community stakeholders.
- **Women’s Mental Health Program**_
This stream provides gender-informed psychological services for women and gender-diverse individuals facing challenges related to trauma, mood disorders, relational violence, reproductive mental health, and identity. Therapists in this program use trauma-sensitive CBT, ACT, and compassion-focused strategies and collaborate closely with clients to address social, systemic, and developmental influences on well-being.
- **General Mental Health**_
This clinic supports individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, burnout, grief, insomnia, health anxiety, perfectionism, and life transitions. Treatment is tailored using CBT protocols and transdiagnostic approaches. We also provide short-term CBT coaching for clients seeking rapid skill-building in areas such as procrastination, assertiveness, and emotional regulation.
- **Assessment and Consultation Services**_
Our psychologists conduct comprehensive assessments for diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, academic accommodations, and disability documentation. This includes psychodiagnostic and functional assessments for youth and adults across various settings.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on cognitive behavioural therapy, to clients of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential clinical records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and collaborative discussions to enhance client outcomes and professional growth.
