**About the Role**:
The Youth Outreach Program Coordinator leads the operations and service delivery functions of the Youth Outreach program with a focus on team effectiveness, achievement of outcomes, and the evaluation of services in a seamless and integrated manner. This role works closely and collaboratively with community partners and staff to accomplish program objectives and ensure quality of services and program delivery. This role is responsible for the direct leadership, support, and supervision of a diverse team, program development and delivery, tracking and achievement of deliverables and outcomes, reporting, and demonstrating resourcefulness and innovation to enhance services.

**In this role, you will**:

- Work with youth, their families, and community partners to ensure that youth are equipped with the tools, resources, and opportunities for social inclusion, empowerment, and well-being, helping them develop the skills and confidence to succeed in their new environment
- Lead and coordinate activities designed to support and engage newcomer youth as they navigate their settlement and integration process in their new community
- Create safer, inclusive, and empowering spaces for newcomer youth to connect with each other, build essential skills, and access support services
- Provide engaging staff team leadership using effective management, coaching and communication strategies
- Ensure operational excellence in the development, implementation and evaluation of program activities and outcomes
- Develop and implement new strategies, approaches and initiatives that reflect understanding and identification of emerging gaps, trends and needs
- Create new resources, tools and processes that contribute to service efficiency and effectiveness of client support
- Build and leverage partnerships by working collaboratively and proactively with community partners
- Demonstrate excellence in fiscal and outcome management and reporting.

**Education and Skills Qualifications**:

- Relevant education and/or combination of training or experience in human service delivery, settlement service delivery, program coordination, community development or equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ years of progressive experience in staff team leadership, program development, coordination, or delivery of community and client-based programming.
- Robust understanding of settlement sector as well as cultural competency in working with diverse newcomer populations - lived newcomer experience is a strong asset.
- Experience in youth program coordination, particularly supporting newcomer youth in settlement and integration, is an asset
- Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating programs that promote social inclusion, empowerment, and well-being
- Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring operational logistics including expenditures and budget planning
- Strong organizational and program coordination skills, with the ability to design, implement, and evaluate initiatives
- Proven record of meeting contract deliverables and reporting on outcome achievement
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively write professional program reports
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, ACCESS, Excel, Word, PPT), Teams, and Zoom and the ability to learn and adapt t
