**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, plate compactors, and hand tools for site preparation and landscaping projects
- Install and repair irrigations, sod, plants, trees, and mulch
- Grading, excavation, and soil preparation ready for sod install
- Load, unload, and transport materials/machines to job sites
- Follow drawings, instructions, and site plans
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Construction activities including setting foundations, building retaining walls, walkways, installing features, and hardscape features
- Work efficiently as part of a team and independently when required
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and clients
- MOST IMPORTANTLY - follow safety protocols and standards during all operations

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of prior experience in landscape construction
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, power tools, and hand tools required for various tasks
- Familiarity with construction techniques relevant to landscape projects is a must
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Valid driver’s license required for equipment operation and site access
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
