**Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests warmly, setting the tone for their experience.
- Present menus and confidently answer questions about dishes, ingredients, and pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system (Micros experience a plus) and relay them clearly to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation, accuracy, and timing.
- Anticipate guest needs, not just respond to them.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues with calm professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, following all food safety regulations.
- Handle cash and payments precisely, with integrity.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to maintain service cadence.
- Upsell with sincerity, recommendations made from genuine enthusiasm, not pressure.
- Support the flow of service, from set-up to breakdown, as part of a team that values rhythm and respect.
**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in the food service industry with a deep understanding of restaurant operations.
- Excellent time management: the ability to manage multiple tables without losing presence.
- Strong interpersonal skills: positive, poised, and attentive under pressure.
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Basic math and POS proficiency for accurate orders and payments (Micros POS preferred, not required).
- A natural ability to read the room, anticipate needs, and act with quiet efficiency.
- Previous experience in a full-service or fine dining environment is highly desirable.

**Responsabilités**
- Accueillir et placer les invités avec chaleur et assurance.
- Présenter le menu et répondre avec confiance aux questions sur les plats, les ingrédients et les accords mets-boissons.
- Prendre les commandes avec précision et les entrer dans le système POS (Micros, un atout).
- Servir les plats et boissons rapidement, en respectant la présentation et les attentes.
- Anticiper les besoins des invités, plutôt que simplement y répondre.
- Gérer les demandes et plaintes avec calme et professionnalisme.
- Maintenir les standards de propreté et de salubrité dans la salle à manger.
- Manipuler les paiements avec exactitude et intégrité.
- Collaborer étroitement avec la cuisine et le bar pour assurer un service fluide et bien rythmé.
