Café Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe. You will assist with food preparation, serve customers, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. VRCADE Toronto is more than just a VR arcade - we’re a hub for entertainment, social experiences, and fun. Alongside immersive VR games, we offer a cozy café-lounge serving light food, mocktails, and refreshments. We’re looking for a friendly, energetic **Café Attendant** to join our team and help deliver great service to our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve light café menu items, including sandwiches, salads, and snacks
- Mix and serve non-alcoholic cocktails (mocktails), coffee, and other beverages
- Ensure food is prepared with quality, presentation, and safety standards in mind
- Greet and serve guests with a positive, welcoming attitude
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including café counters, prep areas, and tables
- Assist with inventory restocking and basic food prep
- Follow all health & safety, hygiene, and food handling guidelines

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a café, deli, barista, or food service role is an asset (training available)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, reliable, and team-oriented
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
