**Deliver on Business Goals and Priorities**
Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team towards the achievement of their business goals. It will be your responsibility to inspire and motivate your team to deliver their best performance and align the team's daily actions with the strategic vision of the ministry. You will contribute to the achievement of team goals by:
- Planning, supervising and coordinating food preparation, production and delivery for the institution.
- Overseeing ordering requirements, maintaining inventories of food supplies, and authorizing payment of monthly billings.
- Planning and posting weekly menus using a computerized food services software.
- Establishing and implementing effective and efficient food preparation and production methods.
- Inspecting kitchen, dishwashing, and distribution areas to ensure cleanliness and a pest-free environment.
- Conducting inspections of equipment to ensure proper and safe operation, storage, waste management, and compliance with Public Health standards.
- Preparing and assuming responsibility for the food services operating budget.
- Providing supervision, direction and training to staff and inmate helpers.
- Maintaining data and records of meals served, including number and types of special diets/meals ordered and provided, and daily usage and losses.

- You have experience assigning and coordinating the kitchen workflow, evaluating performance, identifying staff training needs and resolving employee relations matters.
