McCain Foods (Canada)** **is currently seeking a **_General Operator _**to join our Valley Farm Team in Grand Falls, N.B. for the **Spring**/**Fall Harvest.**

JOB GRADE: Depends on Qualification

**DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid Truck Driver License - Class 3 (Air Brakes)
- Ability to operate farm machinery, SS Loader, Forklift
- Valid Pesticide License (not required but would be an asset)
- Background in Agriculture would be an asset
- Capable of performing General Maintenance
- Responsible for following all safety requirements
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- ** Team player with excellent attendance**:

- Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude
- Willing and able to work long hours and weekends
- Must follow “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP’s)
- Grade 12 education or GED would be an asset
- Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate “safety first’’ on a continual basis
- Foster and promote a safe work environment
- Ability to lift 25-30lb and at times excess of 50lbs
- All additional duties as they become assigned
