Taiga Building Products — We have a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT opportunity in our Burnaby branch for a Junior Financial Analyst. The Junior Financial Analyst will support the finance group focusing on preparing and maintaining reports for Treasury, month end procedures, and senior management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete daily cash management and treasury tasks
- Prepare and analyze various monthly and quarterly FP&A reports to support senior management decision making
- Prepare schedules for month end processes including inventory, leasing and other claims
- Mange internal lumber price lists
- Prepare bi-weekly bank reporting packages and supporting schedules
- Prepare various weekly reports for inventory management
- Prepare reports and support for audit
- Processing of capital expenditure forms
- Complete special and ad hoc projects and research as requested by senior management

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Undergraduate degree in business, with a focus on finance or accounting
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Sound judgment, excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
- Self-motivated and growth-oriented
- Strong team player who can also work well independently
- Experience with Great Plains or Management Reporter is an asset
- Experience with or knack for software systems implementation is an asset
- Experience in building products industry or distribution is an asset
