**Operations Manager - Fort Saskatchewan**

**Position Overview**:
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the day to day operations of Avenge Energy Services Inc. in our Fort Saskatchewan location achieves profitable growth towards company objectives. This position is responsible for achieving branch and company goals, and success targets of Avenge Energy Services Inc.’s. This location services four streams of business. This position will work closely with division and department Managers, as well as Sales and Day to Day Field Teams in this location. Reporting to the General Manager, the important position is responsible for ensuring clients receive the highest quality of service, and nurture new and existing business.

**Responsibilities**
- Build and support client service relationships, growing the business with new and existing client through solution based sales and service.
- Act as a liaison between sales and service team with our clients.
- Organize and control service activities
- Schedule, plan and delegate tasks and duties to staff
- Document and process all pertinent staff, equipment, regulatory and other job related information
- Responsible for crews and equipment in an assigned area
- Ensure employees practice Avenge and client specific safety policies and procedures
- Ensure the work meets legislative expectations
- Ensure that Avenge staff is in adherence to operating standards
- Perform driver and equipment inspections
- Cover Dispatcher sick and vacation days
- Facilitate Safety and Branch Meetings
- Hold and keep current safety and client tickets
- Provide direction, training and on-going leadership to Avenge operational staff
- Coach and train team on procedures and processes
- Monitor safety requirement participation of all workers
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills/Experience**
- Previous Operations Manager experience in a solution selling environment and oilfield service knowledge in trucking operation mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to communicate will clients and employees at all levels within the company
- Ability to develop and maintain productive customer relationships in a competitive market
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks and priorities producing high quality results.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision demonstrating a proactive approach to job opportunities
- Ability to make decisions combined with the ability to work as part of a team and share information
- Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid and CPR, and other industry required certification
- Class 1 or 3 license with clean driver’s abstract

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Fluid Hauling Management: 3 years (preferred)
- Industrial Tank Cleaning Management: 3 years (preferred)
- Pipeline and Vac Truck Management: 3 years (preferred)
- Proven Management Leadership Success: 3 years (preferred)
