**REPORTS TO**: Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager on Duty

**WHAT’S THE JOB?** As a evening houseperson/laundry attendant - you’ll be responsible for maintaining all public area cleanliness to ensure a high quality of service and comfort, and to ensure a high quality of cleanliness to maintain guest satisfaction and safety as well as make sure the linen in our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work.

**YOUR DAY-TO-DAY**

Works closely with Front Desk to ensure guest satisfaction and consistency in guest service.

Respond to various guest requests including but not limited to distributing clean towels, toiletries and making deliveries.

You’ll ensure that all hotel linens are laundered and cared for in accordance with hotel standards

Addresses guest concerns in a positive and helpful manner and takes prompt, corrective action where necessary.

Maintain a professional manner with all hotel guests and employees.

Maintains guest confidentiality.

Performs daily cleaning off all public areas in the hotel including admin offices.

Inspect public areas for cleanliness.

Restock all cleaning service items in house persons closets.

Ensures the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.

Ensures the proper storage, handling and security of housekeeping equipment and supplies.

Adheres to daily, weekly, monthly, yearly deep cleaning schedule to ensure hotel is always at its maximum cleanliness.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
- Strength - with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
- You might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
- Previous cleaning/laundry/linen experience an asset
- Flexible attitude to shifts - you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
