Project Coordinator (Full-Time, Permanent)
The Running Room Group of Companies is currently hiring a Project Coordinator to join our team The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the logistics of store openings, relocations, and renovations. The position ensures that each project progresses efficiently by coordinating with external and internal stakeholders while maintaining high standards of execution.
The Project Coordinator must have experience in a project coordination or project management role. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously.
This job is 100% worked in-office (no work from home or hybrid work).

Key Responsibilities
- Store Development & Management: Oversee the planning and execution of store openings, moves, renovations, and closings, ensuring smooth transitions and mínimal disruptions.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between external designers and contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Landlord & Approvals: Work with Landlords to secure necessary approvals, ensuring compliance with lease agreements as well as government and property regulations.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with the COO to align on design and build-out specifications. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure their contributions to the project are completed on time.
- Project Oversight: Track project milestones, budgets, and schedules while identifying risks and troubleshooting potential delays.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in project coordination or management within a retail or commercial environment.
- Familiarity with the store development process, including construction, design, signage, and lease agreements is an asset.
- Proficient at organization, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work evenings or weekends as required.
- Ability to work with external vendors and cross-functional teams to drive project success.
