**Job Description**:
Maintaining an excellent flow and selection of products to choose from, this role contributes to the success of the Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty team. Organizing back room product, ensuring our shelves are replenished and maintaining a visually appealing showroom is all part of this creative and dynamic role.

The ideal Beauty Merchandiser will:

- Pool & Process Returns (weekly)
- Event Set-Up & Recovery (weekly)
- Display/POP Assembly (weekly)
- Maintains/organizes cosmetics, fragrance and dermatological drawers
- Adjust fixtures, pricing, filing, and cleaning (as required)
- Cosmetics Lock-Up Maintenance& organize backroom stock
- Cycle count - advises appropriate person on stock outs/shortages
- Assembles and displays pre-packs as per planogram instruction
- Displays signage and talkers accordingly including flyers and corporate markdowns
- Expert in assigned areas of product inventory, product placement, expiry dates, promotion, etc.
- Maintains operating standard guidelines pertaining to image and trends in store
- Ensures product displays are consumer focused and “shoppable”
- Works with Front Store Manager and Beauty Manager to identify out of stock solutions, exit strategy and order replenishment opportunities
- Takes initiative to acknowledge and assist all customers in the aisles and transfer to Beauty Staff
- Supports the business to maximize the customer’s experience
- Perform other duties as required such as cash, when required

What you Bring:

- Previous merchandising or customer service experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Commitment to providing excellence in Customer Service

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends, but mostly day shifts.
- Ability to work in a fragrance filled environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladder
- Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves
