**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your work will primarily focus on enhancing the quality of life for patients, particularly seniors and those with disabilities, by delivering personalized care in various settings such as nursing homes, hospice care, and private residences.

**Duties**
As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients.
- Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring patient reactions.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of patients.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supporting individuals with dementia care by implementing appropriate engagement strategies.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Documenting patient progress and reporting any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in caregiving or health care settings is preferred, especially in senior care or nursing homes.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and special needs.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with patients.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.
