The IT Technician class 3 is responsible for coordination, control and integration with the company's IT policies.

**As an IT Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Identifies and finds solutions to customer concerns related to office equipment, computer hardware, and software.
- Resolves problems with PC client hardware and software.
- Installs and implements office hardware and software according to company standards and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with company security policies.
- Maintains hardware and software inventory databases to keep a current list.
- Installs and configures desktop computers, software, and peripherals following standard IT group procedures.
- Creates and maintains a variety of images for Windows systems.
- Provides assistance to users.
- Works with hardware suppliers to resolve certain problems.
- Performs moves and reconnections of computer and telephone (VOIP) equipment.
- Provides coverage for IT department functions to replace staff during vacations, illnesses, training, etc.
- Replaces defective parts on peripherals and PCs.
- Ensures that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Performs all other related tasks as assigned.

- Diploma of Vocational Studies in IT support;
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in IT support;
- Knowledge of various Microsoft Windows operating systems, Linux, and Microsoft Office software, etc.;
- Experience with LAN networked computer hardware;
- Bilingual (French and English) an asset;
- Availability to work on call occasionally.
