**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking residential building caretaker.
This is an entry-level caretaking position. It is ideal for experienced cleaners who are looking to gain caretaking experience.
- **Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (8am-4pm)**

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Inspect and litter pick both inside and outside of the buildings
- Meet trades people and give them access to service areas
- Painting, sanding, and general surface maintenance.
- Door repairs, including hinges, handles, and locks.
- _Carry out regular inspections; note problems and recommend or take corrective action where authorized_
- Document daily approved overtime hours as set out by the Property Manager
- Educate and inform residents of Strata bylaws and site procedures. Show locations of garbage, recycling, bicycle storage and storage rooms. Advising residents on proper security procedures such as waiting for the parking gate to fully close before proceeding.
- Ensure compliance with established work and safety standards
- Familiar with the computer software, along with the security cameras and features of the building, coordinate details relating to the
- Distribution of fobs and remotes
- Keep all resident personal information updated as residents move in and out, and when there are other changes to resident information.
- Keep in regular contact with Property Manager to alert of any emergencies, providing a full report of these occurrences via written
- Daily log of all matters that are important to the PM and SC

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Reliable and punctual
- Experienced with handyman duties is a must.
- Experienced in doing power washing.
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to deal with residents in a professional, positive, and friendly manner
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
- Caretaker: 1 year (preferred)
