**About us**

Social 13 lounge and bar, is doing something exciting weekend evenings starting in early may. On Fridays and Saturday night Social 13 will be converting to Area 31 at 9pm and closing at 2 am. The concept of the space will be sci-fi space themed. With the beats and the decor to match. We are looking to fill 2-3 security positions. must be able to work 10 pm -2 am every Friday and Saturday. and must be Protec certified.

Duties include

IDing all patrons at the door and ensuring everyone is of age

Checking guests for harmful objects and outside liquor

Dealing with problematic guests in a respectful manner

And overall ensuring the safety of our patrons.

The Door Attendant will work closely with the Concierge to ensure that every single guest is greeted and checked in upon arrival. This individual will also be responsible for managing the building's front desk and helping guests get to their destination on time. The Door Attendant will also be responsible for acting as a security guard and monitoring the building during their shift.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check and verify identity of individuals.
- Check invitation list for event.
- Open doors for guests.
- Control entry and exit points of the building.
- Report unusual activity to security personnel.
- Manage guest list during an event.
- Interact civilly with all parties involved with the performance of his job duties.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
