We are currently looking for a **Production Supervisor** for the **weekend shift** at our facility in **Brampton**. The Production Supervisor will assure the efficient daily operations of the plant and our commitment to our health and safety program. We are looking for a team player for whom the day to day challenges of a manufacturing environment brings out their very best. You will work in collaboration with the Production Manager and all other associated departments as well as Safety, Quality, Sales, and HR.
- Assure the efficient operations of the facility
- Support and supervise production personnel
- Review and schedule production and manpower requirements
- Participate in the training of production employees
- Work closely with planning department
- Prepare production reports
- Follow the production KPI
- Provide information, instruction and supervision to shift Foremen to pass along to their employees
- Monitor production quality
- Participate in the preparation of operating procedures
- Implement, distribute, maintain and train employees on the health and safety program, procedures and safe work practices
- Ensure that safety regulations, safe work & hygiene practices as well as operating instructions are clearly applied as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
- Investigate accidents and near miss situations
- Respect the standards of quality as well as health and safety at work
- Coordinate all shift activities in accordance with the company’s “employee working conditions manual”
- Be a Health and Safety leader on the floor

**Required profile**
- Relevant experience in manufacturing as a Production Supervisor
- Blown film extrusion experience
- Technical skills
- Able to work in a multicultural environment
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act
- Flexographic printing experience ; an asset
- Leadership
- Respectful management style
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Autonomous, methodical and efficient
- Ability to work under pressure
- Mastery of computer tools such as the MS Office suite
